How did a pre-eminent engineering company engage thousands of employees with their changing direction? We created clear, compelling materials that brought strategy to life for a disparate workforce.

The scale and structure of Rolls-Royce means internal alignment can prove a challenge as the organisation undergoes change. The company needed to package and articulate its new strategy so that it was easily understood across the business. The solution had to ensure employees’ support, while clearly articulating what part they had to play.
We began by auditing existing materials and facilitating a series of workshops with senior leaders to inform the narrative for the strategy. We then developed a series of infographics and animations to bring the strategy to life. These communicated a clear set of messages to employees about their role in helping Rolls-Royce return to growth.
The strategy and supporting communications were cascaded by the leadership team across the business. Engagement was so positive that the materials were used as a framework for further internal communications and HR initiatives throughout the year.
