Bladonmore's coaching division provides leadership communications coaching for senior management communicating to key audiences. It specialises in communications to investors, clients, staff and the media. Bladonmore's advice helps organisations ensure shareholders better understand the value of their business, helps win new clients, helps senior teams engage with employees, and improves media understanding and coverage. Bladonmore works at the highest level internationally, for example with CEOs and CFOs from Europe's largest companies as well as 13 of the top 20 financial PR agencies.

 

Bladonmore also creates and delivers a wide range of content, much of it editorially driven, for example: magazines, films, websites, annual reports, and brand identity.  We focus on intelligent and engaging content that drives response from key stakeholders: clients, investors and internal audiences. We specialise in being content partners to clients including organisations in the financial, investment and businesses sectors.

 

Purpose of Role:

Be an integral part of the Client Development Team at Bladonmore.  The focus is on handling in-bound coaching enquiries to successful delivery.   The role holder would then be expected to develop deeper links with some of these clients.  Doing this effectively means the individual will contribute to the team achieving its revenue and profit targets.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

1. Inbound Opportunity Processing:

  • Receive inbound telephone enquiries. This would involve information gathering and negotiation skills, and the ability to explain our offering clearly and in an engaging manner in order to convert the opportunity to a sale. This happens on an ad hoc basis
  • Filter inbound online opportunities. Be the first line of contact and follow-up new leads via email or telephone
  • Update the Salesforce CRM system with relevant opportunity information
  • Liaise with Operations team to ensure the course is delivered effectively

 

2. Online Marketing

  • Update the coaching section of the Bladonmore website
  • Take responsibility for search engine optimisation
  • Put in place an appropriate reporting protocol that shows return on our investment
  • Take charge of distributing online marketing to defined audiences and synchronizing this with Bladonmore's CRM system

 

3. Production of sales resources:

  • Use existing templates to produce PowerPoint proposal documents for potential clients. This will include personalised executive summary, relevant Bladonmore credentials, course outline, relevant biographies, programme fees
  • Send course information to delegates on request
  • Produce new collateral as required

 

4. Operational Duties

  • Liaise with Operations Team to ensure the best training team is chosen for each session
  • Ensure relevant background information is received from the client and passed on to trainers
  • Produce research on clients/delegates using internet resources
  • Organise conference calls/meetings between clients and trainers if appropriate
  • Follow up with trainers to ensure everything went well and to check if any there are any follow up opportunities

 

5. Client Development

  • Once the role holder has proved competency in building a rapport with potential clients, they will be given an opportunity to start developing their own relationships with existing clients. The ultimate ambition is for the individual to develop trusted advisor relationships with clients, understand their key communication issues and demonstrate a consultative approach to help solve their issues with the range of Bladonmore capabilities
  • This part of the job will enable the candidate to get outside and away from their desk to start building face to face relationships. The ambition is for this person to have succeeded in developing client relationships to such a level that the business needs to hire a new individual focused on Parts 1 - 4 of the job description

 

Other

 

  • To undertake such other tasks including general administrative duties as may be required from time to time
  • Ensure you always keep the Salesforce CRM system up to date with your client contact data and opportunities
  • To be an ambassador for the business at all times

 


Attitude & Skills required:

  • Ideally one year experience working within a sales role, although we would consider a graduate trainee for this role.
  • Excellent project and time management skills with ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organisation.
