THE PROCESS
Process is key to delivering corporate publishing services on time and on budget. The following summarises the Bladonmore publications process. Our objective in managing this process is to give you as much input as you want on the final product, whilst removing the headache of execution.
Week 1
- Client Briefing - Discussion of objectives, Outline of approach, Agree budget
- Team selection - Writers, photographers, designers, editors
- Design Draft - Client discussion and input
- Distribution Strategy - Establish degree of Bladonmore input required
Week 2
- Words - Desk and field research, interviewing, writing
- Pictures - Commissioning and execution
- Design - First draft design submitted to client (dummy copy)
- Distribution - Database, mailing house, mailing preparation
Week 3
- Words - desk and field research, interviewing, writing
- Pictures - commissioning and execution
- Design - Second draft design submitted to client (dummy copy)
- Distribution - Database, mailing house, mailing preparation
Week 4
- Words: Sub-editing, proof reading, headline writing
- Pictures: placing in publication
- Design: Third draft design to client (real words and headlines)
Week 5
- Client approval

- Printing
- Distribution
Follow-up
- Distribution Check
