Rebranding the Tenner campaign for young entrepreneurs
Education charity Young Enterprise has been taking a proactive approach to tackling youth unemployment for more than 50 years and in 2012 it took over the trusteeship of UK-wide campaign Tenner.
Through the campaign, young people aged from five to 19 are loaned £10 and encouraged to start their own business, initiative or product. They then have one month for their idea to make as much profit – and as much of a difference to the community – as it can.
We created a distinctive new identity and a website packed with resources and ideas to relaunch Tenner for the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Our new strapline, ‘It’s in your hands’, aims to inspire students to take control of their destiny. The expanding concentric circles represent the idea of growing the business from the initial start-up of ‘a tenner’, while the hand-drawn style of the circles is inspired by a fingerprint, suggesting the unique journey each budding entrepreneur will take.More about this client >
