We’re strategists, writers, designers and coaches with a shared passion for bringing business strategy to life. 

Founded by award-winning Financial Times and The Sunday Telegraph journalist Richard Rivlin, Bladonmore opened for business in 2002. Fourteen years on, we are still working with our first-ever client, private equity firm Bridgepoint.

Today, there are 30 of us in London supporting clients across sectors and markets. We all believe in the power of a strong narrative to help clients craft their stories and tell them well.

Richard founded Bladonmore in 2002. A respected media coach, he works with leadership teams at some of the world’s largest companies, helping them to articulate business strategy, develop narrative and messaging and communicate change internally and externally.

Prior to founding the agency, Richard was an award-winning journalist for the Financial Times and The Sunday Telegraph, working in both London and New York.

David oversees services for our clients that range from messaging projects and investor communications programmes to fundraising initiatives for financial institutions and professional services firms.

His recent work includes projects for Lyceum Capital, Doughty Hanson and a US financial boutique raising money for an infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia.

Liz ensures that every company we work with has the best possible experience. Alongside her team, Liz is responsible for developing longstanding, strategic relationships with our clients.

Prior to joining Bladonmore, Liz was account director at communications agency SAS, where she was responsible for the management and growth of a number of global corporate accounts.

Matt runs the Bladonmore coaching business.

With a decade of consultant experience, he is a trusted advisor to senior management at clients such as Philips, BAE Systems and HSBC. Before joining Bladonmore, Matt was a business editor at Bloomberg, Sunday Business and Condé Nast.

Ben delivers media and presentation coaching sessions for clients including Virgin, HSBC and Philips.

Prior to joining Bladonmore, Ben was the BBC’s Europe business reporter in Brussels, produced BBC Two’s Working Lunch and worked as a politics reporter for BBC Radio 4’s The Westminster Hour.

She has a formal qualification in Speech Pathology and Therapy.

James is a senior strategic creative with brand, digital and campaign experience. He collaborates with the wider team to apply creative thinking and innovation to solve communication issues and drive business change.

Prior to joining Bladonmore, James was Creative Director at Columns in London for several years with clients such as Savoy, Virgin and Shell. He then moved to Singapore to spend time as a digitally-focused Creative Director for Toaster, working across Google products in the APAC region.

Martin advises and works with clients on sustainability issues, with a particular focus on developing narratives and materials that engage and persuade external stakeholders. 

He brings more than 20 years of experience working at a global level in sustainability and public affairs in the energy, FMCG and healthcare sectors. With Bladonmore, he has worked with clients including ArcelorMittal and BG Group.

Jacqueline builds brands. Unusually for a designer, she starts off by working from hand to craft strategically smart and creatively compelling brand identities.

Jacqueline joined Bladonmore in 2015 following seven years of branding experience in South Africa. During this time she worked for Interbrand on a range of consumer and corporate brands, including Namibian Health Plan and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

Having started out in consumer advertising, Simon is ideally positioned to advise B2B brands on how to be more creatively effective in their communications.

Siobhan looks after branding, design and communications projects for a range of clients. Siobhan started out as a communications analyst before moving to Blueprint Partners, where she managed internal communications projects for a range of clients including BlackBerry and EE.

Alice is a project manager at Bladonmore, where she looks after editorial, branding and communications projects for a variety of clients, including Coller Capital and Abraaj. Prior to Bladonmore, Alice was the communications manager for crisis management consultancy, Regester Larkin. Here she oversaw the brand, PR and digital marketing for the company. She graduated from Bristol University in 2012 with a degree in philosophy.

Sophie is a Copywriter, helping clients from airlines to law firms tell coherent and engaging narratives.  

She is an English Literature graduate from Cambridge University and has a Master’s Degree in one of the world’s most famous story-tellers, Shakespeare.

She has previous experience in project management and print journalism.

Ella coordinates projects for our clients in crisis communications, media training and presentation coaching. From initial proposals to delivering sessions, she ensures every project runs efficiently and successfully.

Formerly the operation manager of an events company, Ella also has previous experience in consular services and business administration. She is a Geography graduate from the University of Bristol.

Bobby Williams is a cameraman and assistant trainer with over seven years of extensive international media-training experience. Bobby has worked on sessions for multi-national organisations such as BAE Systems, Terra Firma and M&S.

He specialises in helping delegates deliver their messages effectively on-camera and draws on twenty years of experience as a filmmaker.

As an award-winning journalist and commentator, his career has included specialist correspondent roles with The Times and The Sunday Telegraph. His media training experience spans the financial, technology, defence and healthcare sectors.

Matt is an experienced writer and consultant who supports Bladonmore on major projects with US-based clients. These have included the launch of a global thought leadership publication for a top-10 consulting firm, interviews with business leaders on behalf of a top-10 global law firm and media coaching with a multinational information and analytics company.

During a ten-year career in journalism, Matt was employed in Washington for The Economist and The New Republic, and in New York and Brussels for The Wall Street Journal. Matt also has extensive government experience and has served as a speechwriter for President Bush, Condoleezza Rice, US trade representative Robert Zoellick and the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, William Donaldson

Matt is also the founder of FT Newsmine, a weekly email brief of financial market facts and figures produced in collaboration with the Financial Times, and he serves as a senior fellow at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business.
