The secret to business success is taught in new Abu Dhabi training courses
The secret to building a successful career lies in building great communication skills. So says Bladonmore, a communications advisory firm with offices in Abu Dhabi and London, which has launched a public communications training programme, Tomorrow's Talent, in Abu Dhabi.
Taking place from 27-30 March 2011 at TwoFour54 in Abu Dhabi, the upcoming Tomorrow's Talent courses are one-day standalone sessions, 27 and 29 March for Presentation Skills and 28 and 30 March for Media Skills. These sessions will be run by experienced UK print and broadcast journalists and professional cameramen.
Bladonmore is a trusted communications training partner to business leaders from firms across the world, including Virgin, Arcelor Mittal, Phillips, providing support for financial result announcements, keynote addresses and critical media interviews, and acting as an ongoing communications advisor. It is this same experience that will be offered in the Tomorrow's Talent sessions.
Jonty Summers, General Manager, Bladonmore Middle East, stated: "The business leaders of tomorrow will need communication skills more than ever. They will need to present their case, internally and externally, build relationships and be comfortable in front of a camera. Those who take this aspect of their role as seriously as the technical aspects will be those who succeed."
Bladonmore held a pilot project in December last year in Abu Dhabi, with courses attended by members of the communications teams from Aldar, Abu Dhabi Department of Transport and TDIC. For the upcoming sessions a number of executives from the Middle East offices of global firms have already confirmed attendance.
All interviews and presentations are recorded and played back during the sessions, with all participants provided with a DVD of their performance at the end of the day to aid learning.
