Ara’s rebrand reflects the analytical rigour and specialist skills of a firm that’s ‘built to decarbonize’ the industrial economy
Context
The conversation around sustainable investing has quickly matured – but branding and communications have been slow to catch up.
Operating in a highly scrutinized space where many investment firms lack the branding, messaging, depth of content and quality of design to stand out, global private equity firm, Ara, had the opportunity to establish a clear positioning as a leader in decarbonization.
Approach
Ara had won plaudits with both investors and partners for the clarity of its mission and strategy; the challenge was to improve the way this was captured in its brand and expressed across its website and communications.
We identified three key areas that needed to be addressed: addressing fundamental gaps in its story through a tight new brand narrative; creating content that evidenced its impact; and developing a visual identity to better reflect the dynamism and character of the firm.
We developed a positioning – built to decarbonize – at the core of the brand. It reflected Ara’s specialist approach and provided the creative thread to connect its narrative, hero graphic, visual identity and content plan – brought to life across a dynamic new website.
