AAC Clyde Space’s new visual identity and communications focus on how data from space can be used to benefit people, businesses, governments – and ultimately, all life – on Earth

Context

The global small satellite market is expanding rapidly, driven by technological advances, falling costs and an insatiable demand for data. AAC Clyde Space saw the opportunity to shift its focus from manufacturer to data provider as it looked to reposition itself as a world leader in Space Data as a Service.

It reached out to Bladonmore to help upgrade its entire investor communications suite, including the creation of a revitalised website, to support its strategic repositioning.

Approach

While the world of space data might sound exciting, it can also be confusing and highly technical. It was clear that investors would need something tangible and recognisable to connect with to buy into the company. From this insight came the new tagline, ‘bringing space down to Earth.’

We transformed the company’s communications, moving away from the complex technologies, satellites, and data it builds and provides, to highlight the tangible benefits that its data provides for life on Earth.

By showing the benefits that AAC Clyde Space’s data can provide to a whole host of industries back on Earth, we’re able to help it tell its story. This new story makes it easy for investors to see the huge range of commercial opportunities provided by space data.
