Helping a City accountancy firm re-establish its identity

City-based accountancy firm Buzzacott was changing and growing but wanted to articulate its consistent values to its employees and clients.

Approach

For this project, Bladonmore:

  • Conducted 32 research interviews and competitor research to identify key themes and differentiators
  • Produced corporate master narrative and derivatives for internal and external applications
  • Embedded narrative among the firm’s employees
    • Narrative exhibition and staff conference
    • Writing guidelines
    • ‘Verbalising the Narrative’ coaching sessions
  • Created editorial content to showcase the firm’s key offerings to clients

The new narrative, together with coaching on how to deliver it well, has enabled people across Buzzacott to articulate the firm’s value proposition clearly and feel a sense of ownership. This has helped them to communicate with clients more effectively and provides a framework for all marketing and recruitment activity.
