And…it’s gold!

Completing award-winning work for clients is always welcome – and particularly so in the wake of a pandemic year. Since the start of June, Bladonmore has snapped up three big award wins for our recent work with Landsec, UniCredit and Caledonia Investments.

We picked up gold in:

The awards receive thousands of entries each year and recognise standout communications initiatives across branding, reputation and engagement. Each of these projects shared a couple of common themes – areas where we continue to show we can provide a real ‘value add’ for our clients.

Flexibility and a fast response are critical

Things don’t always pan out as expected, and we’re often asked to help our clients tackle unfamiliar comms challenges. Our work with Landsec saw us support its first ever virtual Capital Markets event, against a backdrop of strict Covid restrictions. Our flexibility, fast thinking and detailed preparation in tight timescales meant that we were able to help the business successfully land a critical strategic update, despite the challenging situation. Similarly, our work with UniCredit was recognised in part for our speed of response – developing and launching a microsite in less than a week to keep over 85,000 employees informed and connected to the banking group as Italy went into Europe’s first lockdown.

Film continues to come up trumps

Film is a great way of bringing your story to life, but it is also a key medium for landing more personal, direct messages with an audience that isn’t in the room. Film played a major part in all three of our award-winning projects – capturing the sense of heritage that underpins Caledonia’s investment philosophy; live streaming Landsec’s Capital Markets event and creating engaging visual content to support the presentations; and showcasing messages from UniCredit’s ‘branch heroes’ on the frontline of the pandemic.
