Richard Carpenter promoted to CEO as New York office opens
Bladonmore has named Richard Carpenter as CEO following a continued period of growth and development.
The London-headquartered agency, which also has offices in LA and Dubai, has recently expanded to New York as the business continues to increase its global footprint.
Bladonmore works with premium, large cap clients in the UK, Europe, the Gulf and the US, building strategies that help brands to communicate with confidence. Carpenter joined the business in 2018 as Managing Partner to lead a restructure that has resulted in increased international expansion from the Gulf to the US.
Prior to Bladonmore, he was CEO for global communications agency MerchantCantos, part of Brunswick Group. There, Carpenter led the tactical direction and expansion from London to San Francisco, New York, Berlin, Dubai and Hong Kong.
Carpenter says: “I’m delighted to move into the new CEO role and look forward to driving Bladonmore even further forward in the next few years – alongside the fantastic team that we have assembled. We’re delivering some great work for clients and bridging the gap between high-level strategic thinking and amazing creative delivery in a digital environment. That model is being lapped up across all of our offices so we can’t wait to extend our reach in the States.”

The announcement comes on the heels of huge momentum and business growth that the company has achieved over the last three years. As part of that strategy, Bladonmore has made significant investments in talent and internal restructuring to enhance its core business.
In his new role, Carpenter will drive further growth, align wider company ambitions, and boost integration of the agency’s offering of strategic advisory, executive coaching, and creative content to meet clients’ evolving needs.
