Bladonmore and Coller Capital win Gold at the Lens Awards

Bladonmore, and client Coller Capital, took the Gold Award for Best Video Targeted to the Investor Audience at the 2025 Lens Awards for Corporate Video.

The winning film, designed to demystify the complexities of private equity secondaries for individual investors and wealth advisers, placed Jeremy Coller inside his own athletics race metaphor. Through innovative technical filmmaking, the film simplified a complex asset class while positioning Coller Capital as a leader in the private equity secondaries space.

“It’s always great to see creative ideas bring new clarity to complex topics, and this film exemplifies how we take abstract concepts and transform them into something both engaging and easily understood,” says Cathal Smyth, Executive Director, Strategy at Bladonmore. “The work we’ve done with Coller Capital and others demonstrates our ability to educate, explain and differentiate in ways that capture the attention of private investors, which is critical at a time when many firms are trying to convey the same message.”

The film’s creative success stems not just from its innovative storytelling, but from a strategic focus on three key pillars of wealth communications:

  • Educating about asset classes – ensuring complex products are accessible
  • Explaining the firm’s specific offer in a clear, relatable manner
  • Differentiating the brand in a crowded and competitive market

Judges praised the use of immersive virtual technology, AI-driven post-production, and seamless integration of the metaphor to make complex financial topics accessible without losing credibility. The film surpassed expectations, generating over 500,000 impressions and a 40.7% completion rate on LinkedIn.

Congratulations to Jeremy, Gavin, Andrew, and the entire Coller Capital team on this well-deserved recognition!
