Bowel Research UK is a charity that funds life-changing research into bowel cancer and other diseases.

It was founded in 2020 following a merger between two well-respected charities: Bowel & Cancer Research and Bowel Disease Research Foundation (BDRF). What sets it apart from other research charities is the proximity of patients and researchers.

Our first campaign helped build the profile of BRUK and its important work by getting people to talk about bowel diseases and get comfortable with the uncomfortable.

The campaign was heavily based on film and user generated content and increased BRUK’s Facebook fans by 663% and website traffic by over 50%.

The follow-up campaign made the shift from building awareness to raising money and focused on the unique relationship fostered by BRUK.
